GRANGER, Virginia Ann (Hall) has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday March 14, 2004 at Norfolk General Hospital with her loving family by her side, after a long and courageous battle with diabetes, heart and cancer. Beloved wife of the late R. Keith Granger (Sept. 2000). Mother of Brian Wayne Granger & wife Anne Marie, Port Dover. Loving Grandmother of Daryl Scott Granger & wife Karen, Simcoe; Ryan Keith Granger & wife Karrie, Guelph; & Victoria Margaret Elizabeth Alway, Delhi. Special relative to Karen Sue Alway & husband Andy, Delhi. Survived by nephew Ronald Claude Hall, wife Barbara & their sons Jeffrey & Jeremy, Kingsville; niece Carolyn Baker & husband Rob & their children Scott & Emily, Peterborough. She leaves special friend Pat Gamble as well as many others known for their kindness. Predeceased by brother Claude & his wife Margaret, Peterborough formerly of Simcoe, also her parents Hughes & Iola Hall. Virginia was born in Danville, Virginia, January 5, 1929, and came to Canada as a small child with her brother Claude and parents. She married her husband Keith in 1947 and they celebrated over 50 years together. Virginia was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Windham Centre, a past president of the Ladies' Aid of the same church and a former Sunday school teacher of the senior young people. She was also a past president of the Windham Central Home & School, postmaster of the Windham Centre Post Office for 26 years, owned & operated the Village Gift Shop, and a long time member of Delhi Eastern Star & the Postmasters' Association. Special thank you to Dr. Bonnie Edwards & the Nurses of ICU & 3rd floor of Norfolk General Hospital, along with VON & Care Partners for all their caring and compassion. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Service in the chapel Wednesday at 11am. Rev. Rov Shaw officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Windham Centre, Diabetic Association, VON, or Waterford Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake would be appreciated by the family. Order of the Eastern Star, Delhi Chapter, service on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm
