Obituary of HOWARD RALPH MISENER

MISENER, Howard – Surrounded by the love of his family at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday January 11, 2016 of Waterford in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Traver). Loved father of Robert (and Mary), Hazel (and Don) Dunham. Proud grandpa of Jennifer (and Alex), Krista (and Joel), Kelly (and George), and great grandchildren Caleb, Hailey, Keira, and Kari. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Elizabeth Lee, Clara Atkins, Eliza Misener, and brothers Tommy and Clifford. Howard worked for many years for the Norfolk Board of Education, and received great enjoyment of being a Mason of Wilson Lodge 113. Friends may call at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Friday at 11am. Rev. Allan Burr officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
