GOODE, Wanda C. – It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Wanda at her residence in Waterford on Saturday March 5, 2016 surrounded by her loving husband Ron, sister Carol Ann, and good friend Sandee McGahey. Loved sister of Wayne (and Carol), Carol Ann Walker, sister-in-law of LeRoy (and Betty), Gordon, and Pat Goode. Adoring aunt of Sherry (and Sean), Carianne, Brad, Tracey (and Lea), Trevor (and Dani), Brett (and Helen), Justin, and great nieces and nephews Nicole, Kenzie, Marcus, Phenix, Sidney, Oz, Melody, Tristen, Nina, Adaya and Aliviah. Dear niece of Adeline, Lena, Earl, Grant (and Marion) Winger. Also survived by many family members and friends. Predeceased by parents Donald & Dorothy Walker, brothers-in-law Gwillym and Gerald Goode, and nephew Llewellyn Goode. Wanda was known by many people in the community for her dedication to community service. Wanda is best known for her volunteer work with Waterford District Community Foundation, and Waterford Pumpkinfest. Wanda was Post Master at Waterford Post Office for 49 plus years. Wanda also had a great love of dancing and Elvis. A Memorial Service will be held at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Chapel on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 11am. Rev. John Maich and Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. For those of you who are unable to attend the service at 11, the family wishes to invite you to a Celebration of Wanda's life at the Waterford Legion at 12pm. A special request of Wanda's is for those attending to come in casual clothing. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Waterford District Community Foundation Deer Park, Waterford United Church, and Salvation Army.
