Marie lived and breathed all parts of the Plowmen’s Associations. She served dutifully and faithfully as the first lady President of the Ontario Plowmen’s Association in 2002. She led by example and no task was too big or too small for Marie to tackle and accomplish. While the success of “the Plow Boys” were always a priority for Marie at Branch Competitions and the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo, it was the Queens of the Furrow that really captured her heart. For many years she chaired the Ontario Queen of the Furrow committee. Hundreds of young ladies benefited from Marie’s unwavering dedication to this programme. Marie was an unselfish mentor to all ----and especially to the Directors and Staff of the Ontario Plowmen’s Association. She opened doors for many. Her accomplishments were many.

On behalf of the family of Rex and Lorraine Chambers, I would like to extend my sympathy to the whole family. Think how many people those 2 couples brought into the world! Growing up our parents were back and forth, many meals, many laughs, your mother had a great one. They are altogether again as it should be. Thinking of you at this time Gail Chambers Catherwood
