Dear Sandy, Trevor and Lori, Alycia and Mike, Paige, Noah, Camryn, Quinn, Wayne and Deanna and Family, Linda, Brian and Karen and Families, It was so sad to attend Brian's Celebration of Life, yesterday, but wonderful for me to see almost everyone in one place. Karen and I discussed the stages of life....our dating years, bridal showers and marriages....then babies and showers....then our babies become adults and marry....and then they have their own children at which point, our generation become Grandparents or great uncles or aunts. And then, in our 70's, we face losing a loved one, who we have loved and cherished for over 50 years. Brian was such a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. I appreciate all the good times that we had in the 70's and 80's. My life went in a different direction, and I eventually ended up in Sudbury, but our 1-2 hour conversations meant the world to me, Sandy, keeping me up to date on your family, and the Waterford news. Thank you both, for helping me through my difficult times. And I must mention George and Kaye, Brian and Wayne's parents. George was taken way too soon, and "Aunt" Kaye was a wonderful influence on my life. Goodbye, Brian. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Lyn O'Reilly

Dear Sandy, Randy and I send our deepest condolences to you and the family. Randy remembers Brian right back to public school and then all of us in high school. What wonderful memories were made. Life took us in different directions but one thing never changed. Brian showed up for you, his family, friends and community. He cared and made a difference and thus, this world is a better place for him having been in it. The path ahead will not be easy because you and Brian were perfect for each other. Having recently suffered a loss, I cling to this hope and share with you, Sandy. This was not "Goodbye", just "I'll see you later." Someday, when we close our eyes on earth and open them in Heaven and look into the eyes of our Saviour, then we will say, "Now I understand why". Praying...

I did not know you long Brian, but in that time I came to admire and respect you and your family. A true family man and "gentleman" in the very best sense of the words. You will be sorely missed and forever remembered. (No asparagus!!)
