I was shocked and saddened to hear of Deb’s passing. Although I had not seen Deb in the quite a few years we had many times exchanged messages and sadly most recently when her Mom passed.
Deb was a kind sweet friend. Her talent for quilting was extraordinary and I enjoyed seeing many of her completed projects. We messaged last about sharing her potato bun recipe which she so kindly said I could try. I told her I wouldn’t be able to do them justice, but she still encouraged me to try. To all of the Church and Simon families my very deepest condolences. I know heaven has gained a beautiful soul. RIP Deb.
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Deb's passing. Deb will be remembered for her kindness, her quick wit and smile and love of family and friends. She was an amazing quilter and we had fun on Shop Hops and at Guild meetings. Deb's choices of colours and patterns created phenomenal one of a kind quilts which I pray will bring comfort in the days ahead- wrapped in a hug from her. Deb will be sorely missed. May the memories that you have made throughout the years bring comfort.
I met this sweet lady about a year ago at St. Bernard's Church. I was touched by her kindness and caring. She gave me a small quilted heart with a gold cross she had made which she liked to gift to strangers. And I was the recipient that day! Lovely memory. After that, we shared stories and greetings. She will be missed. I am saddened by her passing. Chris King
Shocked and saddened to read of Debbie’s passing. She was a joy to know, we enjoyed having her in Pottery Class at Mohawk College and The Brantford Potter’s Guild.
I know she has a special reserved spot in heaven.
Rest In Peace dear Debbie

My sincere condolences to the Church and Simon families. I remember Debbie as being a very sweet, soft-spoken person. Sadly too young to be gone.
