During our time as members at Shenstone, Roz and I remember Barb (and Art) always being available to encourage and help from the kitchen at any Pioneer or Church function. Her smile and willingness to help "behind the scenes" was such a blessing to others. I was a former member of the local CEF Committee, and she was the same way, always willing to help with Summer missionaries and clubs. Now with the Lord, but will always be remembered and missed by us.

It's with the deepest sorrow that Helen and I heard of Barb's passing today. What a wonderful, godly woman she was and it was an honour being her pastor after she and Art were married in 2007. She was always encouraging to talk to and supportive not only at Shenstone Baptist but also in the ministries of CEF & Rural Life Mission. Her not being in the church congregation any longer is a real loss, but there's joy in knowing she's now in the heavenly congregation awaiting the arrival of other fellow believers for the rest of eternity. We loved her, appreciated her enthusiasm, encouragement, involvement and self-sacrificing way.
