Hi, I realize this is quite late. I only knew Connie, while at high school and not, overly well but I did know, both Norm and Shirley and thought both of them to be, incredibly, special people. Norm always seemed quiet, yet very discerning, kind and thoughtful. Shirley mirrored those attributes perfectly and was herself, very kind, astute and just a truly, sweet, wonderful mate, in every way. I loved both their smiles. They were heartfelt, genuine and both of their lives spoke extremely well, of the faith, that they held and honoured.
I hate to see such wonderful people succumb, as Shirley did, to any type of dementia. I don't drive these days and haven't for some time, partly due to medicational needs but always wanted to visit Shirley, while she was at Parkview Meadows and she was there, for quite a while. I hate to see such lovely, precious people go, although I know, that now, they are truly Home, safe, whole and filled with contentment and joy that is everlasting. I thank them both for their testimonies, their beautifully, expressed and loving lives, even under much sadness and duress.
