Obituary of BARB STOFFELSEN

STOFFELSEN Simmermaker, Barbara – Peacefully with the love of her family, Barb passed away at St. Thomas Elgin Hospital on Tuesday April 1, 2025, of Brantford in her 86^th year.  Beloved wife of the late Archie Simmermaker and Art Stoffelsen.  Loving mother of Karen (and Cameron) Thompson, Steve (and Lynette) Simmermaker, Julie (and Clarence) Phillips, Penny (and the late Paul) Phibbs.  Cherished Grams of Bryan (and Stefanie), Steve (and Jessie), Julianna (and Alex), Whitney, Steve (and Kate), Jocelyn (and Jordan), Ryan (and Michelle), Heather (and Adam), Heidi, Hanna (and Jacob), Kevin (and Sarah), Brittnee, Kyle (and Emily), and G.G. of 23 great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Pat (and Ron) Oatman, Tom (and Kathy) Gleason, Ross (and Sandy) Gleason, Carl (and Doris) Gleason.  Barb will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by brother Bill Lloyd.  Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford Friday April 4, 2025, from 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday April 5, 2025, at 11am.  Rev. Mark Vanderwier officiating.  Interment Waterford Greenwood Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations in memory of Barb can be made to Rural Life Mission, or Child Evangelism Fellowship.
