Obituary of CAROL DOROTHY CADE

Carol Cade - It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Dorothy Cade. She died peacefully at St. Joseph's Lifecare Center at the age of 73. Carol is predeceased by her parents Chuck and Shirley Cade and her brother Allan Cade (Tracey). She will be greatly missed by her nieces Sheri (Scott), Heather, Sara, nephew Michael (Blaire), numerous great nieces and nephews, Aunt Rosemary (Roy), and many others who had the privilege to call her Auntie Carol. Over the years Carol enjoyed travelling and was a proud volunteer of the VON and the C.O.P.S. program. She had diverse interests including knitting, painting, and most recently, writing, having published four books. She loved Murder, She Wrote, Randolph Scott and John Wayne movies, and everything Bing Crosby. Carol's faith was important to her and helped guide her during difficult times. The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff at St. Joe's for the wonderful care Carol received at the end of her life. Services will be held at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home in Waterford, on Wednesday June 11, 2025, at 11 am. Rev. Dale Renout officiating. Interment to follow at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Stedman Community Hospice.
