Obituary of Robert Gordon Kennedy

KENNEDY – Robert Gordon passed away suddenly at Cedarwood Village Retirement Home on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the age of 87.  Beloved husband of the late Norma Jean Kennedy.  Robert and Norma Jean were married for 37 years.  Robert is survived by children Kim Bourne (Joe), Bryan Kennedy (Kelly), Cori Kennedy, Starr Kennedy, Thom Kennedy and Michelle Smith; grandchildren Brittany (Justin), Holden and Taylor (AJ); and by 3 great grandchildren.  Robert will be missed by his brother Don Kennedy (Hoo Jung).  Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N., P.O. Box 70, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. with a memorial service held in the chapel at 11:30 a.m.  A private family interment of ashes to be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Friends are invited after the service to the Waterford Legion Branch 123 for fellowship and refreshments.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
