We’re so sad to say goodbye to Uncle Jim. He had a quiet strength and a big, generous heart that touched everyone around him. He was always like a big kid—fun, playful, and full of life—but somehow still managed to guide us through life with steady advice and smart decisions. We’re going to miss him so much, but we’ll carry him with us—in our memories, in the stories we tell, and in the way we try to live with the same kindness, love, and strength he showed every day.

I worked at Canada Post in The Hamilton Plant and Jim worked in the same position in the London Plant. Jim and I had many phone calls about work, life and family. I always enjoyed having chats with Jim he was so friendly and easy to talk to, and our calls always ended with a good laugh. Wonderful Man. My condolences to his Family and Friends. .

Jim sat beside me in the DPU at Canada Post. He was always so kind, helpful and funny. We chatted a lot about small towns, great Chinese food and he was so nice to work with. We send our Sincere Sympathies to Jim’s wife, children, extended family and friends as well .

One thing Jim and I loved to do together was golf - usually as a foursome with friends Roger, Tony and his brother Bill. We shared many rounds, many laughs, and many lunches. We also had the joy of spending time together in Mexico - those warm, relaxed days will stand out in my memory. Jim was a kind, steady, and loyal friend, and I’ll miss him greatly. I am still in shock after reading about the passing of Jim. I was so looking forward to seeing him at our reunion next Saturday in Waterford. My deepest condolences to the entire family on the loss of this incredible man. I have known Jim since he started Townsend Central Senior school in Grade 7 and we travelled all through WDHS together. Could not have asked for a better friend all those years. We always had a blast catching up at our 5 year reunions and picked up where we left off. I am truly going to miss him. May he always remain in your memories and may you find the strength you need to help you through the difficult days ahead. God bless. RIP my friend. We will catch up again one day.
