Obituary of Eugenie Porr

Eugenie Porr – Peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday August 12, 2025, of Severn Bridge, formerly of Waterford at the age of 70.  Beloved wife of Tom Porr.  Loving mother of Jason (and Amy), and Miranda (and Josh Lippert). Cherished Grandma of Jake and Zac. 

She was known for her sense of humor, infectious laugh, and the ability to light up any room she entered. Her sense of humor was one of the greatest gifts – reminding us all not to take life too seriously and to find joy even in the smallest moments.

Above all, she cherished time spent with family and friends.  Whether gathered around the dinner table, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying everyday conversation, she made those around her feel valued, loved, and heard. Her presence brought people together, and her memory will continue to do the same.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and deep connection – one that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. 

Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Saturday August 16, 2025, from 11a.m. until service time in the chapel at 1p.m.  As expressions of sympathy donations in memory of Eugenie can be made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation, Barrie Ontario.
