Obituary of Ted Giles

GILES - Edward “Ted” Herbert passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in his 94th year. Loving husband of the late Ruth Giles (nee Ellis).  Ted is survived by his children Kathy Dreyer (Tony), Kym Giles and Scott Giles (Carrie); Grandchildren Amanda Angers (Benjamin), Devon Dreyer (Sarah), Caitlin Gurney (Paul), Jesse Belore (Katie), Aiden Giles (Catrina) and Landon Giles; Great Grandchildren Cameron, Anna, Jérémié, Emmanuelle, Conner, Sawyer, Henri, Layne, and Callie.  Predeceased by parents Maurice and Vera Giles and by siblings Shirley Mudge (Jim) and Ken Giles.  Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home , 62 Main Street N, Waterford, (519 443 5332) on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at Boston Baptist Church, 2985 Cockshutt Rd, Waterford on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Personalized condolences can be made online at www.thompsonmotfuneralhome.com.
