In Memory of Hendryk
It is with profound sadness to hear of my younger half-brother, Hendryk's passing. Hendryk was an adventurous motorcycle enthusiast and outdoorsman. He is celebrated for his adventurous spirit and the joy he brought to those around him and will sadly be missed.
Your brother, Anthony

In Memory of Hendryk
My brother was remembered by all of his siblings when he was brought home from the hospital since we were all five years or older at the time. Being an Aquarius and an old soul, he learned from his siblings soon enough.
We had many spats and brawls but always seemed to make amends afterwards. In my teens and older, I never worried about him too much. He was very independent and had lots of friends. In fact, I was known for a time as Henry’s brother and he seemed to worry more about my well- being.
He would have these “awe” moments on his travels when he’d seen a sight that he thought was too much for one to see alone and that it must be shared with someone. He even paid for my trip to Switzerland so I could stand next to the Matterhorn and look down at the Italian alps.
Though after his second marriage his view on life became grim. Drinking led to the gradual loss of the use of his legs and hence the ability to do his job of which he was so proud.
We have lost a bright light which has sadly gone dark.
Your brother

My brother Henry, Cornelius Ostrowski
An instigator from the get-go always instinctively digging to the core of things of course this never came with a well come response . He also possessed our father spirit, embracing challenges, always game for fun and adventure. He enjoyed nature and And all aspects of the great Outdoors. I recall how each year he looked forward to the May 24 weekend with all preparations completely assembled. Henry also did appreciate the finer things of life and never deprived himself of them. Be they the best of the latest. He was never a selfish soul, always giving, buying, or offering A helping hand. He was a brother that would go the extra mile to be there… He showed up on my doorstep in Dallas In two days on his motorcycle, just to be there to support me in a crisis. As our father when he had a heartfelt cause that would resonate with him.
Henry Had so much to give and blessed with talent and opportunities. And yet in the years ahead, something started to consume him. A darkness that he just couldn’t shake off. In all his efforts, The demons took over his spirit, his soul and his life.
Henry May your spirit fly free now from this bondage!
With me, you will always be the brother that was full of life with a heart that knew no Boundaries.
Thank you for all the good memories Vivienne

So sorry to hear about the passing of Hendryx. My condolences go out to the Ostrowski family and all his friends. I first met Hendryx up at Fort MacMurray on the Syncrude UE-1 project back in 2004. I then worked with Hendryx again in 2011 at the Coop refinery in Regina.Being a JM carpenter and JM scaffolding like Hendryx we had that plus more in common. Hendryx was a great guy to work with as well as having good conversations. Going to miss our telephone calls. RIP Hendryx.

My condolences to the family and friends. I have known Henry since we all grew up together in a small village in Bloomsburg. Henry was a guy that later travelled around either working or holidaying somewhere in the world, always looking for an adventure in his life. I hope now you will find peace in the new world.

The first time the Jay's won the world series Henry called in the tied ninth and suggested we run for Toronto in case they won. We did and what a night. Henry always had that zest for life that made him such an interesting person. So many good times. Will miss those long phone calls.
Rest in peace my friend.

I lost contact with Henry some years ago, the Henry I remember was an intelligent, hard working man who enjoyed challenging himself and those in his company. Henry was an adventurer who loved the outdoors and motorcycles, at a young age he was one of the best riders around.
Anyone who knew him well likely thought he was born in the wrong era, better suited for the 40's & 50's Big Band Swing style of music, unfortunately for him 80's Hair Bands were the thing during highschool.
I know you've found peace my friend, our memories will last, my sincere condolences to the entire Ostrowski family.
