Obituary of Wayne Hird

HIRD – Roger Wayne passed away at his home on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the age of 84.  Loving husband of the late Marie Hird (nee. Fishback)(2019).  Wayne is survived by siblings Warren Hird (late Phyllis), Sylvia Clement (late Arnold), Joan Jones (Reg), Denis Hird (Kathy) and by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by parents Joseph and Arley Hird; brother Eugene Hird and niece Andrea Elizabeth Hird.  Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 11:00 – 12:00 noon with a service held in the chapel at 12:00 noon.  Interment in Lynnville Cemetery.  If desired, donations to the CNIB Foundation.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
