Obituary of Clifford George Kirkland

KIRKLAND – Clifford George passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital with family at his side on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the age of 83.  Loving husband of Sharon Kirkland (nee. Flower) of 60+ years.  Clifford is survived by his children Darryl Kirkland, Andrea Panhuis (Alex) and Jennifer Peeler (Adam) and his sister Karin Kirkland (Jim McManus).  Pop leaves behind his grandchildren Sophie Kirkland, Christian Panhuis, Nicholas Panhuis, Olivia Peeler and Charlotte Peeler and will be remembered by dear friends Jill, Rick, Elaine and Ericka Chuli.  Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel.  Cremation to follow.  If desired, donations to Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
