Obituary of Ron Smith

SMITH – Ronald “Ron” Henry passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital with family at his side on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at the age of 81.  Beloved husband of Carolyn Smith (nee. Chamberlain).  Cherished father of Cheryl Bonin (Dan) and Rhonda Smith (John Stewart); grandchildren Marie Bonin (Anthony Abbruscato), Kelsey Bonin (Bailey Cournoyea), Lexsus Little (Philip Telfer) and Richie Little; great grandson Nox Bonin.  Ron will be missed by his brother Darcy Smith (Kathy McIntyre).  Predeceased by his son David Smith.  Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
