Obituary of Carole Louise Logan

Please share a memory of Carole to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

LOGAN - Carole Louise (nee Bell) passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital after a courageous and private battle with cancer on Friday, February 6th, 2026 in her 87th year.  She was born on June 4th, 1939, in Hamilton, to Bernice and George Bell.  Carole was a dedicated wife to late Barry and a devoted mother to Tami and Sue (Chris). She was a proud Nanny to her grandchildren—Jeff (Mandy), Tyler (Skye), Angela (Kyle), and step-grandchildren Jordan and Peter.  A loving Great-Nanny to Emma and Charlotte, who surrounded her with joy every day.  Survived by sister Marilyn, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers David and Georgie.  As the glue of our family, Carole could always be found wherever her loved ones were. From her early years working as an office administer, international sales manager, to ginseng farming, to cheering on her grandchildren at their many activities, her life was shaped by caring for those she cherished most.  Carole was a woman who lit up every room she entered. In her golden years, her love of line dancing, singing, and playing the organ brought happiness to everyone around her.  Carole’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will never be forgotten. Her stories, advice, and warm, comforting hugs will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.  A visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Box 70, Waterford, ON (519-443-5332) on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Allan Burr officiating.  A private interment of ashes to be held at a later date.  In Carole’s honor, the family asks that you perform an act of kindness in her memory, and donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society - Breast Cancer.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
