Obituary of Betty Jane Goode

GOODE – Betty Jane (nee. Andrews) passed away peacefully at Cedarwood Village on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the age of 87.  Beloved wife of the late Fred “LeRoy” Goode (2023).  Betty is survived by her son Peter Goode (Susan); grandchildren Theo, Heidi, Spencer and Brianna; siblings Joyce Davis, Marion Petheram (Don); brother-in-law Gordon Goode and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by parents Helen and Clarence Andrews.  Betty and Fred provided foster care for many children over the years.  A special thanks to Dr. White and all the care workers and staff at Cedarwood Village for the excellent care given to Betty.  Arrangements entrusted to the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Box 70, Waterford (519-443-5332).  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Waterford Greenwood Cemetery, 611 Thompson Road E, Waterford.  If desired, donations to Cedarwood Village or Norfolk General Hospital.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
