I was saddened to hear of Ben’s passing. He was always so happy and sarcastic, quick witted too. Competitive when we’d be out fishing at the same time however. Always had chirps on facebook and beyond, mild mostly but had the odd good burn or zinger. condolences to his family. Gone far too young.

Thinking of your family at this time. Ben and I grew up at Boston Public School and Waterford High. During our adult years he would often see me in the community and we would catch up. I enjoyed our conversations. I will always remember Ben's love of fishing. A memory from 2nd grade, Ben was in charge of the classroom fish and he did an excellent job! I will always remember his kindness and smile. - Lisa Anderson

Sending sincerest condolences and sympathies to the Dugas family. Ben was a great guy with an amazing sense of humor and a real passion for the outdoors. His humor oftentimes lifted me out of whatever funk I just happened to be in at the time. I will miss him and the laughter he always brought.

Met Ben when I first came to Waterford. Had the good fortune to call him a friend and play hockey together. I'll always value our chats about hunting and family. Rest easy my friend. We'll keep you in our prayers.

I will miss ben dearly, he always had a smile on his face. I'll miss our random chats out front of our homes and the laughs we shared . I'll never have better fish than what ben so graciously gave me everytime he went out on the waters ! He was a great neighbor and an even better friend. I know your up there reeling in the big ones just like you did down here buddy . Condolences to all of Ben's family, he was a great guy with gigantic heart. Scott and Stephanie Badour
