Obituary of Kenneth Halyk

HALYK – Kenneth passed away with family at his side at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the age of 92.  Beloved husband of the late Lucy Halyk (nee. Letwin).  Loving and devoted father of Kim Halyk (Kathy), Annamarie Chambers (Ray), Susan Guy and Judy Willson (Wray); father-in-law of Peter Millar, Michele Halyk, and Linda Horeth; cherished Gigi of Cody, Victoria, Rebecca, Courtney, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Brodie, Nolan, Emma, Richele, Micheal, and many great grandchildren.  Missed by sibling Walt Halyk (Sandy), Myris Carpenter (late Glen).  Ken will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by daughter Karen Millar, sons Rick and Nathan, parents Hnat and Anna Halyk, siblings Rose Swidrovich (Walter), Bill Halyk (Joyce), Peter Halyk (Sally), Alex Halyk (Sophie), Ed Halyk (Dorothy), Johnny Halyk, Irvin Halyk (Ann), Sidney Halyk (Sonja), Lawrence Halyk (Olga), Andy Halyk (Jean) and Sam Halyk (Emilly).  Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Rev.
