Obituary of Ern Sovereign

SOVEREIGN – Lewis ”Ern” Lloyd Ernest passed away peacefully with family at his side at the LHSC – Victoria Campus, London on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the age of 91.  Ern is survived by his loving wife Joyce Sovereign (nee. Crabb) of 70+ years.  Ern is survived by his son Lew Sovereign (Lorraine); grandchildren Sandra Carpenter and Brette Hamilton; great grandchildren Hunter Harp and Indigo Hamilton; and by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by daughter Rosena Carpenter (late John) and sisters Marjorie, Muriel, Mildred, and Maxine.  Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service held in the chapel at 12:00 p.m.  Interment in Delhi Cemetery.  If desired, donations to Diabetes Canada.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
