Obituary of Martin de Croos

de CROOS – Martin passed away peacefully with family at his side at Norview Lodge on Friday, August 28, 2026 at the age of 83.  Martin is survived by his loving wife and best friend Jeannette de Croos (nee. VanGoethem) of 60 years.  Survived by son Gerrit de Croos (Suanne); grandchildren Maarten and Annika; brother in law Brian Hudson and by many nieces, nephews and family.  Predeceased by son Marty (1987) and siblings John de Croos and Dora Hudson.  Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service held in the chapel at 12:00 p.m.  Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.  If desired, donations to Norview Lodge.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
