TROMP, Corrie (nee: Slaman) – Peacefully surrounded by family at Parkview Meadows, Townsend on Saturday September 16, 2017 of Waterford formerly of Guelph in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Bauke Vogelzang and the late Gordon Tromp. Loving mother of Mary, John (and Nobuko Egawa), Margaret (and David Beach), Pauline Connelly (and Chris Moeller), Robert (deceased), daughter-in-law Care Carrigan, Chris (and Liana Palko), Jeff. Cherished grandma of Kevin, Kristen, Brian, Andrew, Heather, Caitlin, Matthew, Evelyn. Dear sister of Len, John (and Celia), Peter (and the late Ronnie), Margaret (and Len) Hughes, Nellie (and Ed) Kruis, Bill (and Toni), Ted, Anne Duwyn, Joe (and Diane). Corrie will also be missed by Bob (and Michelle) Vogelzang, Lisa (and Richard) Morrison and many nieces and nephews. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Monday September 18, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish Tuesday September 19, 2017 at 10am. Fr. Frank Murphy officiating. Parish Prayers will be Monday at 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to The Parkinson Society .
