Obituary of EVA JANE VEZSENYI

Please share a memory of EVA to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
VEZSENYI, Eva Jane (Korczak) – It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of a wonderful mother, loving wife and much loved nana on October 12, 2017. Surrounded by her devoted husband and loving children, mom was called to return to her heavenly home after a brave battle with breast cancer. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported mom through her struggle, and ultimately gave her peace. Eva is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 25 years, Chuck; their children Rebecca (and Chris), Sarah (and Eric), Joshua (and Sarah) and Jessica. She was the proud nana of Gracie and Brandon. She is survived by her loving mother Pauline and predeceased by her father John Korczak. Dear sister to Ray (and Mary-Anne), Larry (and Patti), and Joseph; sister at heart to Nadine Howard; daughter-in-law of Charles and Elizabeth Vezsenyi, and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Mom lived her life to the fullest and treasured every memory she made along the way. Momma, you will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. Friends will be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Monday October 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish Tuesday October 17, 2017 at 11am. with Fr. Alan Dufraimont as celebrant. Interment Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brant Community Health Care System Cancer Clinic would be much appreciated by the family. A special thanks to all the staff at Brantford General Hospital especially Dr. Lee and his team. Your words and kindness touched our mom and we will forever be grateful for the time you extended to our dear momma here on earth.
