Obituary of Margaret Woodley

WOODLEY, Margaret; Passed away at Park Lane Long Term Care Facility on Monday July 30, 2012, at the age of 104. Much loved mother of Doug (Shirley Hunt), Don and George (Eleanor) Woodley and cherished grandmother of Joanne (Duane), Brad (Jen), Larry (Lee), Lisa (Michael), Barry (Christine), Bryan (Jeanette), David (Leanne). Lovingly remembered by eleven great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her husband Reg (1995), her parents Thomas and Livina Reid, her brothers Henry and Herb Reid and her daughter-in-law Joyce Woodley (2012). Margaret is believed to have been the last surviving member of the 1931 Brantford General Hospital Nursing Class and was a long time nurse. She also enjoyed her many years of involvement with the White Shrine of Jerusalem and was an adherent of Burtch Baptist Church as well as being and ardent fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. A private family funeral service will be held at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME in Waterford with Rev. John MacPhail officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Waterford. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all of the staff at Park Lane Nursing Home for their outstanding care during the past five years.
