ANTONIOLLI, Raymond Leo; finished his journey on Wednesday May 26, 2010, at home on the Angling Road, Waterford, in a circle of love from family and friends, including his wife, Mary, their three sons, Nick, Cory and Nate, his sister-in-law, Beth Heale, and very special friends, Stephanie Vandenberg, Sandy Bennett and Joan Maloney. Ray was steadfastly supported by his brother, Paul (Mary), nieces Kim (Kelly Robinson), Deb (Don Owen) and cousin Frank Prato (Dianne). Ray is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins from Toronto to Santa Clara, Ca. Ray was born on the family farm near Cayuga on April 11, 1947, the second son of Mary and Quirino. He and his older brother, Paul, grew up in an extended Italian family, surrounded by the love, music, food and language of their heritage. Ray met his wife, Mary at McMaster and they were married in 1971. Ray taught business subjects at Waterford District High School until 1998 when he took an early disability pension as he suffered from scleroderma. Ray and Mary raised their three boys on their 5 acre property, a popular place for fun and frolic. Ray loved life, his family, his friends and the French River. He was a content man, a top Scholar who shared his humour and wine with everyone. Ray lives on in our hearts and memories. Family and friends are invited to the Waterford Legion Branch 123 at Nichol St. on Saturday May 29, 2010, from 2-4 pm. to toast Ray's wonderful life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Scleroderma Society of Ontario by contacting THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford (519-443-5332). www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com
