Obituary of MARION JEWELL OPERSKO

OPERSKO, Marion Jewell – Passed away peacefully on Sunday May 15, 2016, at Parkview Meadows, Townsend, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Clayton Opersko. Loving mother to Wayne, of Waterford, and the late Larry (1969). Cherished Nana of Lorry Hunt of Simcoe and her great grandson Jordan of Toronto. Marion missed Estella Butler, her Mom and best friend, who passed away in 2013 at the age of 101. Marion will be sadly missed by other relatives and friends including Dale Hunt of Port Dover. She will be fondly remembered for her delicious peach dumplings and her good cup of tea! She will be missed by her pet dog Teddy whom she adored. We will remember Marion as a kind and gentle woman who loved her family dearly. Friends may call at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Tuesday 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00am. Rev. Mary Jo Patterson officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
