Obituary of MARY YVONNE WOYNARSKI

Please share a memory of MARY to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
WOYNARSKI, Mary Yvonne (nee Mels) – It is with great sadness and love that the family of Mary Yvonne Woynarski (nee Mels) of Round Plains say farewell. Mary was born in Stekene Belgium and passed away at the wonderful age of 96 August 22, 2016 at Stedman Hospice, Brantford. Beloved wife of the late Frank Woynarski for 49 years. Loving mother to Mary (and Joe) Overdevest, Ron (and Jan) Woynarski, and Janet Woynarski. Cherished Baba to Joe (and Sarah) Overdevest, Jason (and Tracy) Overdevest, Julianne Overdevest, Lisa (and Mike Medaglia) Woynarski, and Caitlin Woynarski. She was the proud great grandmother of Connor, Kennedy, Abigail, Scarlett, Cadence and Makaley. Predeceased by her brothers, Leo (and Marie and Jean), Ben (and Marie), Ferdinand (and Yolande). She will be fondly remembered as Aunt Mary to many. Mom was a partner working side by side with her husband on the farm for many years. She looked forward to her Wednesday afternoon euchre games with her many friends at the Waterford Senior Centre. Her faith was unwavering and she was a lifelong member of St. Bernard's Church and CWL. Friends may call at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Wednesday August 24, 2016 5-8pm. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish Thursday August 25, 2016 at 11am. Fr. Brian McColl officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Parish Prayers Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 4:30pm. In memoriam donations, if desired, may be directed to St. Bernard's Church, Waterford, the Stedman Community Hospice, in order that their exceptional staff and volunteers may continue to support those in our community with their endless patience and gentle care, as they did for Mary and the whole family.
