LAUDENBACH, John – It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of John at Brantford General Hospital on Monday April 2, 2018 of Waterford at the age of 85. Beloved husband for 65 years to Katie (Sprau). Loving father of Irene (and Doug) Gunton, the late Helen Pasinek (and Rob). Proud Grandpa of Kevin (and Jenifer) Gunton, Debbie (and Shawn) Weiler, Cal Pasinek, Brett Pasinek, Jessa (and Shawn) Grosvold, Jamie Pasinek. Cherished Opa of great grandchildren Olivia, Owen, Aidan, Ayla, Noah, Kyya, and Tyler. Dear brother of Maria Schmidt, and Lissie Lang. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Anna Kosher, Theresa Tetzlaf and brother Frank. A special thank you to the staff at Delrose Retirement Home and Brantford General Hospital. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will be held at Waterford United Church on Thursday April 5, 2018 at 11am.
