Obituary of RONALD WILLIAM SLAGHT

SLAGHT, Ronald William – Surrounded by his family Ron passed away peacefully into the arms of his loving Saviour on Friday April 6, 2018, of Boston at the age of 87. Beloved husband for 67 years to Mildred (Bloomfield). Loving father of Larry (and Candy), Don, Darrell (and Melody). Proud grandpa and papa of Stacy, Justin, Marsha, Brett (and Leslie), Natasha (and Josh), Shane, Clinton (and Kareston), Garrett, and great grandchildren Bronson, Jaden, Stella, Brayden, Cole, Mindy, and Heidi. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bob (and Carolyn), and Mary Slaght. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Jason, sister Rosemarie (and Victor) Vivien, brothers Lorence (and Jeana), and Clendon. Ron took great pride in farming and was a lifetime member of Boston Baptist Church. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 12, 2018 at 11am. Pastor Steve Woods and Pastoral Assistant Mike woods officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Boston Baptist Church, Christian Service Centre or Gideon Bibles.
