Obituary of MILDRED JEAN SLAGHT

SLAGHT, Mildred Jean – Reunited with her loving husband Ron, Mildred passed away peacefully at Norview Lodge into the arms of her loving Saviour on Thursday April 19, 2018 of Boston at the age of 89. Loving mother of Larry (and Candy), Don, Darrell (and Melody). Cherished grandma and nana of Stacy, Justin, Marsha, Brett (and Leslie), Natasha (and Josh), Shane, Clinton (and Kareston), Garrett, and great grandchildren Bronson, Jaden, Stella, Brayden, Cole, Mindy, and Heidi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Jason, brothers Roy and Robert Bloomfield. Mildred showed a great enjoyment in her gardening and was a devoted partner on the farm alongside her husband Ron. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 11am. Pastor Steve Woods and Pastoral Assistant Mike Woods officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Boston Baptist Church, Christian Service Centre, or Gideon Bibles.
