Obituary of JOHN BIRO

BIRO, John – With his family by his side John passed away peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday May 17, 2018 of Wilsonville at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Almasy). Loving father of Jim, Nancy (and Leonard) Moke and predeceased by Baby Biro. Proud grandpa of Jeff (and Jodi), Julie (and Jim), Angela (and Mike), Connie, Kimberley (and Ali), great grandchildren Morgan, Jack, Alexander, Lucas, Ryan, Zacharia, Sophia, Ameer, and great great granddaughter Aubrey. Predeceased by parents James and Anne, brothers Steve and Tom. John was a tobacco farmer, previous owner of Biro Motors, Biro Nursery and a member of the Hungarian Hall. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Tuesday May 22, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at 11am. Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
