Obituary of BOHDAN RUDNYK

RUDNYK, Bohdan – At Norfolk General Hospital on Saturday, May 26, 2018, of Waterford in his 89th year. Loved son of the late John and Maria. Survived by brother Andre, Sister-in-law Helen, niece Barbara, nephews John (and Joanne), Gerry (and Christine), and their families. Predeceased by brother Jerry. Borden served in the Polish Army, and in 1956 Borden's brother Jerry requested him to come to Canada. Borden travelled to Canada on the SS Atlantic Steam Ship to Quebec, and boarded a train to Waterford. When Borden arrived in Waterford he was employed to farm for Steve Biro and for many years for Hellyer Farms. Borden also enjoyed carpentry,and market gardening. Friends may be received at THOMPSON MOTT FUNERAL HOME Waterford Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6-8pm wtih Panachyda to follow at 8pm. Funeral serice will be held in the Chapel Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00AM. Internment Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
