Obituary of JEAN CHURCH

CHURCH, Jean – With family by her side at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Saturday September 15, 2018, formerly of Waterford in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Church. Loving mother of Shirley (and Dave) Montross, Albert (and Ruth), Kevin (and Bonnie). Cherished grandma of Chandi, Tonya (and Chris), Alex, Devon, Laura (and Harrison), Michael (and Jessie), Kayla (and Joel), and GGma of Riley and Aurora. Dear sister of Gladys and sisters-in-law Rose and Joan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Clarence and Beatrice Knowles, special aunt and uncle Clara and Guy Teeple, brothers Bill (and Vi), Tom (and Edna), Clark (and Betty), Gordon (and Elaine), Ralph, Ray, and brother-in-law Francis. Jean worked for many years with the Norfolk Board of Education. Because of Jean's love for the history of Windham Twp. Schools, Jean co-authored Readin, Ritin, Rithmatic. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Tuesday September 18, 2018 from 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at 1:30pm with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Rev. Mikal Schomburg officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
