Obituary of SHIRLEY OLIVE BORASKI

BORASKI, Shirley – Shirley "Don't call me Olive" Boraski (nee Aspden) passed away peacefully at John Noble Home, with her life-long sweetheart, Willie, by her side. She will be sadly missed by her 4 children - Allan, Lynn, Bill and Wendy - and their partners, children and grandchildren. Shirley was a firecracker from the day she was born to her last breath. A city girl turned farm wife, she was unendingly faithful to Willie, cared selflessly for her in-laws, became an honorary "Kookeranian", gave her children a wholesome, love-filled upbringing and never judged their life choices. She was a loyal friend to many, and often the life of the party. The family sincerely thanks the wonderful staff at John Noble Home and Golden Pond for the care they gave our mother. Friends will be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, 62 Main Street North, Waterford on Thursday October 4, 2018 from 6-9pm. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held in the chapel on Friday October 5, 2018 at 11am. Rev. Mary Jo Patterson officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Shirley's name may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
