we are truly sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Ray I'm sure he will be sorely missed i always enjoyed talking to Ray at the family picnics. He was always wanting to hear how i was making out with my job. My father employed him years ago with his furniture business and i know he enjoyed working there. I know Ray liked visiting with my father too and getting updates on his pyramid house. God bless and rest in peace Ray.

My prayers are with you today as you lay to rest Janice, your dear husband for so many years. I pray that you would be comforted by the love of Jesus and that you will be united with him in heaven when Jesus calls you home. It was great that I got to see you and Ray in August at the family picnic. May the peace that passes all understanding be with you and the family today and in the future. May God's abundant blessings be with you. Louise

The Friday family nights at Nana Hall's will always include our best memories of Uncle Ray. This poem always brings so much comfort and so share ..
Gone From My Sight
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."
Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"
And that is dying...
Uncle Ray is whole once again and celebrating his homecoming with all our family that has gone on before us.
