Obituary of Anna Mottashed

MOTTASHED, Anna; At Norfolk General Hospital on Friday June 14, 2013, of Waterford in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Mottashed, who she met during the war years and married 2 weeks later, a marriage which lasted 64 years. A devoted stay at home mother for her children Catherine Mottashed, Charles (and Danielle Rioux), Gail Mottashed (and Stephen Kilbridge), Fred (and Magda Rigo). Grandmother of Courtney, Kevin, Amelia, and Jeffrey. Dear sister of Helen Gardiner. Predeceased by brother Jack Wilson. Anna took great joy in dancing and was a founding member of Simcoe Star-a-Naders Square Dance Club. When the children were grown, Anna enjoyed working at the Simcoe Reformer as a proof reader. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Tuesday 1-4 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11 am. Rev. Tony Bouwmeester officiating.
