Obituary of CHARLES VEZSENYI

VEZSENYI, Charles – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday April 13, 2019 at Norview Lodge at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Tamas). Loving father of Chuck (and the late Eva), Edward (and Sherry), Michael (and Shelley), Tibor, Andy (and Barb), Mary (and Tim) Sullivan, John (and Rossa), Shirley (and John) Sterritt. Cherished grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Anne Vezsenyi. Survived by his brother and sister-in-law Andrew and Anne Tamas as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by sister Violet (and John) Petis and brother and sister-in-law George and Irene Tamas. Charles was employed for 26 years at Massey Ferguson in Brantford and farmed in Norfolk County for 40 years. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Tuesday April 16, 2019 from 7-9 pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at 11 am. Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Parish Prayers Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Donations to Parkinson's Society or Norfolk County Norview Lodge Activity Fund would be appreciated by the family.
