Obituary of JUDIE DEW

DEW, JUDIE (nee VALLEY) It is with deep sadness that we announce our beloved mom slipped peacefully away to be reunited with the love of her life, husband Garry on Saturday, May 18, 2019, following a courageous 3 year battle with colon cancer at the age of 69. She will be lovingly remembered for her strength, boundless love and support of her children; Jennifer (Dennis), Jamie (Jessica), Geoff (Kristin) and her precious grandchildren Ricky, Dylan (Jen), Ryleigh, Sydney and Mackenzie. She also leaves behind her sister Sharon (Dan) Scott, mother-in-law Nellie Dew and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Judie was predeceased by her mother Doreen Giles-Persall, father Percy Valley, step fathers Bill Giles, Cliffe Persall and brother Doug Valley.  Judie worked for many years as an Intervenor for special needs children with the Grand Erie District School Board, and in retirement could often be found spending her time with her very special friends, grandchildren and her faithful puppy Mia.  Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Thursday 6-9pm, and service at 1 pm Friday.
