Obituary of ALENA LEFLER

LEFLER, Alena – Peacefully with the love of her family at Norfolk General Hospital on Wednesday September 11, 2019 of the Waterford area in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence (Lefty) Lefler. Loving mother of Marvin (and Dianne), Brian (and Kim Maynard-Lefler). Cherished grandma of Amy (and Trevor), Leah (and Mark), Carrie (and Ryan); Sara (and Chris), Scott (and Katie), Lisa (and Jonathen), Kyle (and Jill), Shaylen (and Jonathan), Jeremy (and Gisele), Jonathan (and Nancy) and great grandchildren Caelan, Claire, Ruth, Jane, Ainsley, Niall, Jacob, Avery, Owen,  Olivia, Colton, Liam, Aiden, Jackson, Desmond, Margot, Dominic, Theo, and Eleanor. Dear sister of Shirley Price, Ethel Nelson and brother Bruce (and Margaret). Predeceased by sister Marion Barry, brothers Leslie, Earl, Ray, and Howard Willson. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Thursday 

September 19, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday September 20, 2019 at 11am.  Rev. Andrew Bunner officiating.  As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
