Obituary of BOB McGILL

McGILL, Robert James – Peacefully with family at his side, Bob went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday September 15, 2019 at Brantford General Hospital, formerly of Waterford in his 83^rd year. Beloved husband for 62 years to Rosette (Wybouw). Loving father of Luanne (and Robert) Ashe, Teresa McGill (and Petro Oh), Karen (and Jamie) Bowen, Adrienne McGill, Cameron McGill (and Helder Gomes).  Proud Grampa of Amelia, April, Matthew, Crystal, Cheryl (and Richard), Skye, Aaron, Autumn (and Adam), Auburn (and Caleb), 8 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Larry (and Mona), and Carol Golding. Bob will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends from the bands, golf course, high school, church, hunting, and skeet club.  Predeceased by parents, James and Doris McGill, and grand daughter Melissa.  Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Friday September 20, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Waterford Bible Church on Saturday September 21, 2019 at 11am.  Pastor George Closs, and Pastor Glenn Rider officiating.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Rural Life Mission, and Brantford School of Instrumental Music.
