Obituary of ROBERT JEROME SIMON

SIMON, Robert Jerome – Quietly passed away at his residence on Friday September 20, 2019 at the age of 87.  Beloved husband of the late Joyce (Welsh).  Loved father of Robert Jr (and Deb)., Jeff (and Debbie Buck), Brad (and Karen), Denise, John (and Tammy), Brian (and Calinda), Blair (and Cheryl) and the late James Simon.  Proud grandpa of 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.  Bob will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, and friends.  Predeceased by brother Ronald and his companion Mary Faludi.  Bob was well known for his hard and dedicated work in the construction industry for over 65 years.  Bob loved to spend his spare time flying his planes.  Bob lived a full and prosperous life right to the end.  Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Thursday September 26, 2019 at 11 am.  Fr. Lucio Couto officiating.  A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Waterford Legion on Sunday October 6, 2019 from 1-3pm.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Lung Association.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted with THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, 519-443-5332.
