Obituary of ART WETHERUP

WETHERUP, Art – With loving thoughts from his family, Art passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on Friday November 15, 2019 of Nixon in his 83^rd year.  Beloved husband of Audrey Morris, and the late Mary (Willett).  Loving father of Nelson (and Twyla), Wayne (and Tammy), Michele (and Brian) Crandall, Marge Cleaves, Gerald Morris, Douglas Morris (and Janice).  Proud grandpa of Stephanie (and Wayne), Amanda (and Alan), Brittany (and Nick); Katrina, Katarina; Douglas, Shelby; Justin (and Jenn), Elissa (and Josh),  Katrina (and Matt), Andy; and great grandchildren Kaitlynn, Reese, Zachary, Aniek, Elle, Miles, Lucas.  Art will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by parents George and Mary, brothers Bill, Jim, and George, and sister Betty.  Art owned and operated Art’s Home Heating for many years.  Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Wednesday November 20, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday November 21, 2019 at 11am.  Pastor Ed Turner officiating.  Interment Bookton Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
