Obituary of RUTH VERNA ANN AMMERMAN

AMMERMAN, Ruth –Peacefully at Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe, with her family at her side, on Monday, January 6, 2020 in her 82nd year. Wife of the late Robert Ammerman. And Dear mother of Verna Woodcox (and Wade) and Cindy Ammerman. Loving grandmother of Joseph & Kirkland. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bill Silverthorn (and Barbara), Bev Campbell (and John Guest), Bill Campbell and Teresa Hepburn-Fisher. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ruth is predeceased by her brother Howard Silverthorn, her sisters Phoebe Cline (and Aaron), Beatrice Phillips (and Lloyd) and Evelyn Silverthorn and by her sister-in-law Violet King (and James) and brothers-in-law Art (and Betty), Jack and Harold Ammerman. Following Ruth’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home Palliative Care Unit or the Activities Program. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford (519-443-5332).
