Please share a memory of OLGA to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
PRORACKI, Olga Mary – Her heart was full but, in the end, tired. Olga passed away peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Sunday May 24, 2020 almost reaching her 93rd birthday. Beloved wife of the late Stanley William Proracki. Loving mother of Paul, Tony (and Michelle), Ava (and Rick) Green, Lana (and Ed) Miskelly, and daughter-in- law Gail Proracki. Devoted grandma of Alex, Natalie (and Thomas), David, Marta, and Nicholas. Dear sister of Andy (and Rita) Dwornik, Marie Nitch, Ella Doyle, Alice Dwornik, Boris (and Darla) Dwornik. Predeceased by son Stanley Bernard Proracki, brother Jerry (and Millie) Dwornik, sister Natalie Sytsma, brothers-in-law Joe Nitch, and Fred Doyle. The oldest of 8 children, Olga developed a sense of responsibility and independence for the members of the Dwornik family. Living independently at Cedarwood Village to the end, Olga prepared most of her meals in her apartment coming down at dinner to socialize with other residents. Olga did not like aging. She hated taking her water pills because her euchre game would be interrupted. Olga loved cards, loved cooking, loved food, loved feeding people, loved music, loved her family and home, and loved a good chinwag with friends. A family service was held at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Who Did It Club. A special thank you to Karen and Helena at Cedarwood Village, Dr Naas and staff at Norfolk General Hospital and Dr. Abbott and staff. Funeral arrangements entrusted with THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford 519-443-5332.
