I only met Joeen once but it was a lovely meeting. I was named after her, my mother worked with her in the 50’s. we always kept I touch at Christmastime.

My deepest condolences to Jacqui and Mark. So very sorry to hear of Joeen's passing. She was the first friend I made in King City. She truly was a beautiful, and gentle soul, a great neighbour and one wonderful hostess at all the parties at her house. I sure do remember how she loved to cook and garden. That smile......a kind and loving smile. As I know she loved nature, look for the cardinal and by its song you will know she is smiling down on her loved ones and saying she loved you all and she is at peace.
Jo always had a lovely smile on her face and so much love in her heart. She will have all the angels in heaven in awe wondering who is this wonderful lady with the beautiful smile. My deepest sympathy to the family of Jo. I played cards at the Senior Center with Jo and she always had a smile on her face and spirit in her ways. She will be very sadly missed when we can resume our Wednesday afternoon card games.
