Obituary of MARIE DOUGLAS

DOUGLAS, Marie – With great sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Marie at her residence on Tuesday October 13, 2020 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Douglas. Loving mother of Kelly (and Bob) Schmitte, Wendy (and John) Goble. Proud Grandma of David (and Morgan) Schmitte, Rebecca (and Chris) DeWeerd, Samantha (and Josh) Prine, Brittney (and Braden) Dyson, and cherished “Great” of Evalyn, Robyn, Calvin, Max, and Parker. Dear sister-in-law of Leone (and the late John) Douglas. Loved cousin of Harold and Cynthia Stuart and the late Don and Dorothy Budd. Predeceased by parents Edmund Culver (1955), Ruth and Rev. John Lake. Due to Covid-19 the family will be having a private gathering. The family wish to thank the members of Villa Nova Baptist Church and neighbours for all their support over the years.
