SCHWAN, Joan T.; Passed away peacefully at her residence of RR#4 Waterford on Friday December 23, 2011 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Eric Schwan. Loving mother of Jeff. Also survived by family members in England. Predeceased by brothers Edward, Cyril, and sisters Lena, Nora, Hilda, and Irene. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Tuesday 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11am. Rev. Louise Rutledge officiating. Cremation will follow with a private interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Ontario Special Olympics, or Doctors Without Borders.
